“Side Street”

“Side Street” – a view on a street in the French Quarter of New Orleans.

I have drawn this image many times after my first sketch when I was visiting the French Quarter.  I love the image of the window which is both open and hidden.

This drawing uses scratchboard, an ink-coated paper.  Using a sharp tool, the ink is scratched off to reveal the image.  It’s an interesting way to draw.
