Description: Most of my artwork is inspired by nature and the outdoors, and I like tropical foliage best of all. This original oil painting was based on plants I saw when I visited the Florida Keys. This painting is a good example of texture build up with several layers of paint. This technique takes time, as each layer has to dry thoroughly before the next, so I can both build up and scratch through the layers to create the desired effect. This painting was done at the same time as "Every Leaf a Flower."
