Onward to Seattle

We left Montana, and drove across northern Idaho to Washington.  Nothing was as we expected, and the topography changed so much it was hard to take it all in.  Idaho was very rugged and very scenic, definitely the most interesting part of this day’s journey.  The mountains are steep and covered with trees, and near the Washington border, there is a great system of lakes.

We arrived in Seattle just in time for the rush hour!Coming into Seattle across the floating bridge
