- Description: But Three's a Crowd! Artists are advised to paint what they know – and I know groceries! I was unpacking the groceries and I took the apples and put them in a bowl. I noticed how nice they looked, so I made a quick watercolor sketch. This small oil painting in one of the many times I’ve used this image.
