- Description: I grew this houseplant from cuttings, and have pampered it for years. It helps brighten the house during the winter, as long as I let it get extra sunshine outdoors in the summer. It was one of the first subjects I tackled when learning how to paint, so it was a good subject when I was learning to do watercolors on clay-coated hardboard panels. Watercolors done on this surface are not delicate, and can be varnished and framed without glass. (Sold)
