Description: This is an impasto oil painting on a wooden panel, and the image extends around the sides. I made it after a long session working on a larger painting, and I really like the colors I had mixed and wanted to use them to create another painting. This is an impressionistic view of an empty road in the snow, at night. I like the image of an empty road – I feel it helps define the landscape in human terms.
