- Description: This original oil painting didn’t start out the way it ended up. It started out abstractly and grew into a scene that reminds me of fireworks. I applied the paint heavily, but in layers. I let each layer dry before adding more colors, and scraping away to reveal the colors underneath. This painting emphasizes texture, colors, and happy accidents.
